I design all of my own fabric, hand dyeing or painting each piece. I use both thickened dye and fabric paints in my work, but my scarves are dyed using only traditional Shibori techniques, including clamp resist, pole wrapping, and stitch resist. I batik, print with my hand carved stamps, screen print and mono-print, and marble fabric. I mix techniques often, for example using flour resist to obtain a strong graphic backbone or blank as the base for a piece.

All of my scarves are made using high-quality Wool,  Silk Haboti, Organza, Charmouse and  Broadcloth or Rayon Broadcloth, Organza or Wovens . Each design is handmade by me and is therefore entirely unique.

All portfolio images are uncorrected and as close to natural color as possible.

If any of the pieces attract you, please feel free to contact me about availability.
